Hadith 223:2
Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Nadr, from Zur'ah ibn Muslim ibn Jarhad, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saw Jarhad in the mosque, and he was wearing a cloak, and his thigh was uncovered. He said: "The thigh is an 'awrah (intimate part)."
حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي النضر، عن زرعة بن مسلم بن جرهد، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رأى جرهدا في المسجد، وعليه بردة قد انكشف فخذه فقال: " الفخذ عورة "
