Hadith 681:2
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Jundub, who said: Something struck the finger of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace—and Ibn Ja'far said: A stone—and it bled. He said: "You are but a finger that has bled, and in the path of God is what you have encountered."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، وعفان، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن الأسود بن قيس، عن جندب قال: أصاب إصبع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم شيء، وقال ابن جعفر: حجر، فدميت، فقال: " " هل أنت إلا إصبع دميت وفي سبيل الله ما لقيت " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
