Hadith 996:0
Narrated Khalid ibn 'Arfatah: I went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a brother who is a man of great wealth, and he is a man who loves the world. He is afraid that if he gives charity, his wealth will decrease." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If he were to give charity, his wealth would not decrease. Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, increases the wealth of the one who gives charity, and He does not increase the servant who pardons except in honor. So pardon, and Allah will honor you."
