Musnad Ahmad 522:1

Waki' narrated to us, Yunus bin Abi Ishaq narrated to me, from Khaythama bin Abd al-Rahman, from his father, who said: "My father's name during the Jahiliyyah was 'Aziz, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) named him Abd al-Rahman."
