Musnad Ahmad 954:2

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, who said: Al-Zuhri said: And 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ka'b ibn Malik informed me—and his father was one of the three who were forgiven—from a man among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): That the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood on that day delivering a sermon. He praised Allah and extolled Him, and sought forgiveness for the martyrs who were killed on the day of Uhud. Then he said: "You, O company of the Emigrants (Muhajirun), are increasing, while the Helpers (Ansar) are not increasing. The Helpers are my inner circle (lit. my satchel/receptacle) to which I have retreated. Honor their noble ones, and overlook the faults of their wrongdoers, for they have fulfilled what was upon them, and what remains is what is for them."
