Hadith 890:1
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Anas ibn Sirin, from Ma'bad ibn Sirin, from a man of the Ansar, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prescribed for sciatica that the tail of an Arabian ram be taken—neither small nor large—then it should be melted down, then divided into three parts, and each day, upon an empty stomach, one part should be drunk.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، عن أنس بن سيرين، عن معبد بن سيرين، عن رجل من الأنصار، عن أبيه، " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: نعت من عرق النسا، أن تؤخذ ألية كبش عربي، ليست بصغيرة، ولا عظيمة، فتذاب ثم تجزأ ثلاثة أجزاء، فيشرب كل يوم على ريق النفس جزء "
