Hadith 802:0
Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Hisham, who said: Narrated to us my father, from a man of Banu Sulaym, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was sitting, and he had a garment of his tucked up to his knees. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, advise me." He said: "Fear Allah, and do not belittle anything of good, even if it is that you pour from your bucket into the vessel of the one who asks for water, or that you speak to your brother while your face is cheerful toward him." "And beware of letting your lower garment hang low (isbal), for that is from arrogance, and Allah does not love arrogance. And if a man insults you and shames you for something he knows about you, then do not shame him for something you know about him, for the burden of that will be upon him."
