Hadith 802:1
Isma'il narrated to us, from Yunus, Abu al-'Ala' ibn al-Shikhkhir narrated to me, one of the Banu Sulaym narrated to me—and I do not think of him except that he had seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—that: "Allah tests His servant with what He has given him. So whoever is pleased with what Allah has apportioned for him, Allah will bless him in it and expand it for him. And whoever is not pleased, it will not be blessed for him."
حدثنا إسماعيل، عن يونس، حدثني أبو العلاء بن الشخير، حدثني أحد بني سليم، ولا أحسبه إلا قد رأى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، " أن الله يبتلي عبده بما أعطاه، فمن رضي بما قسم الله له، بارك الله له فيه، ووسعه، ومن لم يرض لم يبارك له "
