Hadith of Maymunah bint al-Harith al-Hilaliyyah, the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
حديث ميمونة بنت الحارث الهلالية زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 1163:2
Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Ubayd Allah, from Ibn Abbas, from Maymunah, that a mouse fell into some ghee and died. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked about it, and he said: "Take it and what is around it, then throw it away, and eat [the rest of] it."
حدثنا سفيان، عن الزهري، عن عبيد الله، عن ابن عباس، عن ميمونة، أن فأرة وقعت في سمن، فماتت، فسئل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " خذوها وما حولها، فألقوه، وكلوه " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
