Hadith 1230:0
It was narrated from Qārib, the freed slave of ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, that he said: ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb said to me: "I have been thinking about the people of the Book, and I have been thinking about the people of the Fire. As for the people of the Book, they will return to their Book, and as for the people of the Fire, they will return to their Fire." Then he said: "If I were to live until the beginning of the next year, I would surely travel through the lands for a month, for I do not see any people who have more right to be in the place of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than those who are there."
