Hadith 179:1
Sufyan narrated to us, he said: I heard ‘Amr, who heard Ibn ‘Umar say: "We used to practice *mukhabarah* (sharecropping), and we did not see any harm in that, until Rafi‘ ibn Khadij claimed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had forbidden it, so we abandoned it."
حدثنا سفيان، قال: سمعت عمرا، سمع ابن عمر، قال: " كنا نخابر، ولا نرى بذلك بأسا حتى زعم رافع بن خديج أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عنه فتركناه "
