Hadith 405:0
Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Ja’far, who said: Narrated to us Shu’bah, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is no soul among the sons of Adam except that it is in the hand of Allah, or between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful, the Almighty, the Majestic. If He wills, He keeps it straight, and if He wills, He makes it deviate." Then he would say: "O Turner of hearts, make our hearts firm upon Your religion." He said: And he would say: "The scale is in the hand of the Most Merciful, the Almighty, the Majestic. He lowers it and raises it."
