Hadith 564:2
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Hisham, who said: Hafsa narrated to me, from Salman ibn 'Amir, who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "With the boy is his 'Aqiqah (sacrifice), so shed blood for him, and remove the harm from him." He said: And I heard him saying: "Your charity to the poor person is charity, and upon the relative, it is two: charity and maintaining ties of kinship."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن هشام، قال: حدثتني حفصة، عن سلمان بن عامر، قال: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " مع الغلام عقيقته فأهرقوا عنه دما، وأميطوا عنه الأذى " قال وسمعته يقول: " صدقتك على المسكين صدقة، وعلى ذي القربى الرحم ثنتان صدقة، وصلة "
