Musnad Ahmad 1275:1

'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad al-'Ammi Abu 'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Mansur narrated to us, from Mujahid, from a freed slave of Ibn al-Zubayr, who is called Yusuf ibn al-Zubayr or al-Zubayr ibn Yusuf, from Ibn al-Zubayr, from Sawdah bint Zam'ah, she said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "My father is a very old man; he is not able to perform Hajj." He said: "Do you see, if your father had a debt and you paid it off on his behalf, would it be accepted from you?" He said: "Yes." He, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Then Allah is more merciful; perform Hajj on behalf of your father."
