Musnad Ahmad 876:1

Bahz and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from Rib'i ibn Hirash, from Tufayl ibn Sakhbarah, the brother of 'Aishah through her mother, that he saw in what a sleeper sees, as if he passed by a group of Jews. He said: "Who are you?" They said: "We are the Jews." He said: "You are the people, were it not that you claim that 'Uzayr is the son of God." The Jews said: "And you are the people, were it not that you say: 'What God wills and what Muhammad wills.'" Then he passed by a group of Christians, and he said: "Who are you?" They said: "We are the Christians." He said: "You are the people, were it not that you say: 'The Messiah is the son of God.'" They said: "And you are the people, were it not that you say: 'What God wills and what Muhammad wills.'" When he reached the morning, he informed those whom he informed, then he came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and informed him. He said: "Have you informed anyone of it?" 'Affan said: He said: "Yes." When they prayed, he addressed them, so he praised God and lauded Him. Then he said: "Tufayl saw a vision and informed those whom he informed among you, and you were saying a word that shyness from you prevented me from forbidding you from it." He said: "Do not say: 'What God wills and what Muhammad wills.'"
