Hadith 1229:0
Narrated to us by Abd al-Razzaq, who said: Narrated to us Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Ka'b ibn Malik, from his father, from Uhban ibn Sayfi, who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when a man came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about the wolf?" He replied: "It is a dog among the dogs of Allah, but the people have become hostile toward it." He then said: "What do you say about the crow?" He replied: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has not permitted me to kill it, nor has he forbidden me, but it is among the five [creatures] that are wicked and may be killed in the Sacred Precinct (al-Haram)."
