Hadith 1184:2
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: Habib al-Ansari narrated to me, from Layla, from her grandmother, Umm 'Umarah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon her, and she brought food near to him. He said: "Draw near and eat." She said: "I am fasting." He said: "When a fasting person has food eaten in their presence, the angels pray for them."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن شعبة، قال: حدثني حبيب الأنصاري، عن ليلى ، عن جدته أم عمارة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها، فقربت إليه طعاما، قال: " ادني فكلي ". قالت: إني صائمة، قال: " الصائم إذا أكل عنده، صلت عليه الملائكة "
