Hadith 906:0
Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Ja’far, who said: Narrated to us Shu’bah, from Hisham ibn Hassan, who said: I heard Hafsah bint Sirin say: Umm ‘Atiyyah said: We were commanded to bring out the young women, the virgins, and those in seclusion, to the two ‘Eids. As for the menstruating women, they were to stay away from the prayer place, but they were to witness the goodness and the supplication of the Muslims. I said: O Messenger of Allah, one of us does not have a jilbab (outer garment). He said: Let her sister lend her one of her jilbabs.
