Musnad Ahmad 1272:1

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Abu al-Nadr, from Abu Murrah, the freed slave of 'Aqil ibn Abi Talib, from Umm Hani, that she went to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the day of the Conquest. She said: I found him bathing, and Fatimah was screening him with a garment. I greeted him, and that was in the forenoon. He said: "Who is this?" I said: "I am Umm Hani." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, my mother's son claims that he will kill a man whom I have granted protection, so-and-so, son of Hubayrah." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "We have granted protection to whom you have granted protection, O Umm Hani." When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, finished his bath, he stood and prayed eight rak'ahs, wrapped in a garment.
