Hadith 433:2
Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Harb—meaning al-Abrash—narrated to us, he said: Sulayman ibn Sulaym Abu Salamah narrated to us, from Salih ibn Yahya ibn al-Miqdam, from his grandfather al-Miqdam ibn Ma’di Karib, who said: We went on a summer expedition with Khalid ibn al-Walid. Our companions craved meat, so they asked me for a mare of mine, and I gave it to them, and they slaughtered it. Then I said: "Stay where you are until I come to Khalid and ask him." He said: So I came to him and asked him. He said: "We went on the expedition of Khaybar with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and the people rushed into the enclosures of the Jews. He ordered me to call out: 'Prayer is gathering,' and 'None shall enter Paradise except a Muslim.' Then he said: 'O people, you have rushed into the enclosures of the Jews. Know that the wealth of those under a covenant (mu’ahidin) is not lawful except by its right, and forbidden to you are the meats of domestic donkeys, their horses, their mules, every beast of prey with a canine tooth, and every bird with a talon.'"
حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الملك، حدثنا محمد بن حرب يعني الأبرش، قال: حدثنا سليمان بن سليم أبو سلمة، عن صالح بن يحيى بن المقدام، عن جده المقدام بن معدي كرب، قال: غزونا مع خالد بن الوليد، الصائفة، فقرم أصحابنا إلى اللحم، فسألوني، رمكة لي ، فدفعتها إليهم، فحبلوها ، ثم قلت: مكانكم حتى آتي خالدا، فأسأله، قال: فأتيته فسألته، فقال: غزونا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم غزوة خيبر، فأسرع الناس في حظائر يهود، فأمرني أن أنادي: الصلاة جامعة، ولا يدخل الجنة إلا مسلم، ثم قال: " أيها الناس إنكم قد أسرعتم في حظائر يهود، ألا لا تحل أموال المعاهدين إلا بحقها، وحرام عليكم لحوم الحمر الأهلية، وخيلها، وبغالها، وكل ذي ناب من السبع ، وكل ذي مخلب من الطير " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
