Musnad Ahmad 1302:3

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, who said: I heard Abu ‘Umar al-Sayyini, from Abu al-Darda’, that when a guest would descend upon him, he would say to him: "Is Abu al-Darda’ staying, so we may let [the animals] graze, or is he departing, so we may provide fodder?" He said: If he said to him: "I am departing," he would say to him: "I do not find for you anything better than a thing the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us with. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the wealthy have taken away the reward; they perform Hajj and we do not perform Hajj, and they perform Jihad and we do not perform Jihad, and such and such.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Shall I not guide you to something that, if you take hold of it, you will come with the best of what anyone among them comes with? That you exalt Allah (say *Allahu Akbar*) thirty-four times, and glorify Him (*SubhanAllah*) thirty-three times, and praise Him (*Alhamdulillah*) thirty-three times, at the end of every prayer.'"
