Musnad Ahmad 403:1

Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, who is al-Muqaddami, narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Thabit al-‘Abdi narrated to us, he said: ‘Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, from al-Sa’b ibn Jaththama, that he gifted to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the meat of game, but he did not accept it. He saw that [reaction] on the face of al-Sa’b, so he said: "Nothing prevented us from accepting it from you except that we were in the state of ihram." He said: And he was asked about the horses that they trample the children of the polytheists with at night, so he said: "They are, meaning, from their fathers." And he said: "There is no protected pasture (hima) except for Allah and His Messenger."
