Surah Al-Balad 90:19



ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ

But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.

Surah Al-Balad (The City) - Verse 19

And those who disbelieved in Our signs...

It has been said that the meaning here refers to those who will be given their record in their left hand or from behind their backs. We have already described them by stating:

{In scorching wind and boiling water * And shade of black smoke} (Al-Waqi'ah: 42) and other similar descriptions.

Then, the Almighty said:

**{Upon them will be a Fire, enveloping them.}** (Al-Balad: 20)
