Tafsir
Verse range: 14:52
{هَٰذَا بَلَاغٌ لِّلَّانَاسِ} This is a sufficient reminder and exhortation. It refers to what was described from His saying: {And do not think...} (Al-Imran: 169) up to His saying: {Swift in account} (Al-Imran: 169).
{وَلِيُنذَرُوا بِهِ} This is conjoined to an omitted clause; meaning: "so that they may be counseled and warned by it." It is also recited as wa-li-yudhkaru (and that they may be reminded). It is also recited as wa-li-yandhuru (with a fatha on the ya), from the verb nadhara bihi, meaning: to know something and prepare for it.
{وَلِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ} Because when they fear what they have been warned of, that fear compels them to reflect until they arrive at the realization of Oneness (Tawhid), for fear is the root of all goodness.
From the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Whoever recites Surah Ibrahim shall be given a reward of ten good deeds for the number of everyone who worshipped idols and the number of those who did not."
