At-Taghābun: (16) So fear Allah as...
{...as much as you are able}
Meaning: exert your effort and capacity. That is, expend your ability in it.
{And listen}
To what you are being admonished with.
{And obey}
Regarding what you are commanded to do and what you are forbidden from.
{And spend}
In the ways for which spending is obligatory upon you.
{...for the good of yourselves}
This is in the accusative case due to an omitted verb. Its estimation is: "Bring forth good for yourselves," and "Do that which is better and more beneficial for them." This serves as an emphasis to urge the fulfillment of these commands, and a clarification that these matters are better for your souls than wealth, children, and the love of desires and worldly adornments that you are devoted to.
{If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Appreciative, Forbearing. Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.}
