Surah Al-Mulk 67:29
ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."
ﱟ ﱠ ﱡ ﱢ ﱣ ﱤ ﱥ ﱦ ﱧ ﱨ ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."
Tafsir
Verse range: 67:29
If you ask: Why did he delay the object of āmannā (we have believed) and advance the object of tawakkalnā (we have relied)?
I say: Because āmannā occurred as an allusion to the disbelievers, coming immediately after their mention. It is as if it were said: "We have believed, and we have not disbelieved as you have disbelieved."
Then he said: "And upon Him we have relied," specifically—meaning we did not rely upon what you rely upon, such as your men and your wealth.
